See What's New with L&S Promotions

L&S Promotions welcomes you to our website and thank you for your support of our festivals. As we wind down the winter season turn the corner and head towards the summer Festival season, let's reflect on our two winter Festivals in the southwest. YUMA with its new location impressed many fans with the beautiful green grass audience area and a fresh new facility that offered camping for the first time. This one day Festival has become a good stop along the winter bluegrass circuit offering a good variety of well-known bands. Camping will again be available Friday & Saturday nights for 2009.

PARKER was simply wonderful despite the unexpected wind storm early Sunday morning. The entire week was one to remember as we wrapped up the final La Paz County Park (Parker) Festival as we will be moving a short 33 mi. north in 2009 to beautiful LAKE HAVASU STATE PARK for "BLUEGRASS ON THE BEACH". The move is due to a 132% park rent increase by the La Paz County Board of Supervisors. We thank all those who supported us in Parker and invite you to join in the fun at our new site.

One of the most memorable parts of the Parker Festival were for those who attended witnessed bluegrass history as we said farewell to our friend and premier musician Master Chief Wayne Taylor of the U.S. Navy Band, Country Current who performed his last bluegrass Festival as he heads towards retirement. Fans were treated to three encores. The many other bands performed in top notch fashion as they thrilled fans all weekend with their excellent music, comedy and high-powered sounds.

As we gear up for the move, we look forward to seeing our bluegrass family and friends and are hopeful you will join us for what promises to be another outstanding L&S Festival with another powerful line-up, including, "CHERRYHOLMES" along with many other world-class bands. Lake Havasu City has it all, with amenities that offers great shopping, plenty of restaurants, hotels within walking distance of the festival site & the London Bridge, cell phone service, great RV parks, beautiful Lake Havasu and just about anything you may need. The Lake Havasu Tourism & Chamber offices have rolled out the red carpet and are standing by to help with information you may need. The local community has shown a real interest as we bring our event and most importantly, you the fans to the city. Tickets go on sale Oct.15, 2008.

PLYMOUTH "Bluegrassin' in the Foothills" has become a fan favorite with it's mystique that offers that warm cozy Festival atmosphere where friends meet to wrap up the summer Festival season. This Festival is shaping up nicely with featured acts: The GIBSON BROTHER'S, IBMA'S 2007 "Fiddle Player of the Year" MICHAEL CLEVELAND AND FLAMEKEEPER, the return of the BLUEGRASS BROTHERS, traditionalist DON RIGSBY & MIDNIGHT CALL, the youth of NEW FOUND ROAD and many more. Our challenge will be again to do our best to put together a Festival that will be second to none. We have the ingredients with our stellar line-up, a wonderful venue in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, a great Kid's on Stage Performance and many other family oriented activities.

L&S Promotions Festivals will continue to bring powerful world-class line-ups with some of the best venues in the west, excellent sound re-enforcement, great jamming, lots of great bluegrass memories, fun and enjoyment for the entire family and possibly new friendships you will enjoy for years to come.

We thank you for your support and commitment of the greatest music on earth and hope you are making plans to attend one or more of our Festivals. While attending our Festivals be sure to say "Hello"! "LIFE IS GOOD!" (With Bluegrass Music)

Sincerely,
Larry & Sondra
