GENERAL    INFORMATION

  • Amador County Fairgrounds offers limited electric for RV campers on its thirty-five acres.  There are rolling green lawns, old oak trees and immaculately groomed grounds as well as some dirt / gravel. All sites are first come first serve.  No reservations taken.

  • Our Festival takes place in the heart of the Gold Country, where the first discovery of gold brought thousands to the foothills.  We are also in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley  well known for their premium wineries.

  • We have on site for your convenience and shopping pleasure, Food and Beverage Vendors as well as Arts & Crafts Vendors and a Classic Car Show (Saturday only).

  • This is an outdoor event.  So do not forget your own chairs or blankets for the audience seating area which is in a grassy field.  Please do not set up your chairs until the Stage and Sound crew are completely finished

  • The weather in September can be pretty toasty!  Not unusual to be in the mid to high 80’s or 90’s during the day.  So you might want to throw in a supply of sunscreen.  The evenings can cool down, or not, make sure you have your favorite sweatshirt or jacket.  But lets all remember, no one can predict what Mother Nature has in store.

  • The Fairgrounds do have hot showers and dump station on site.

  • We also will have for your convenience, 7 lb. and 20 lb. bags of ice for sale. Beginning Thursday, we will have 24hr. Security during the three-day Festival.

  • All pets must be kept on a leash at all times.  Please be a responsible pet owner and be sure to do the “PPU”, after your pets!  (Poop Pick Up) Please DO NOT take your pet with you into the Food Court area.  Be respectful of those who are not pet lovers.

  • Generators are allowed.  Just be courteous to your neighbor.  Lets try not to go later than 11p.m. and no earlier than 7a.m.

  • Campfires are permitted ONLY in wood burning containers.  Do not leave fires unattended.  Do not dump the hot ash in trash bins.

  • Wristbands are VERY important and must be worn at ALL times during the three day Festival.  They are called wristbands for a reason ~~~ please wear them on your wrist “loosely”.  Allow for swelling due to warm weather.  Security will ask you to purchase a wristband if not properly displayed.

  • Absolutely NO smoking, NO pets, NO glass (of any type) in the audience area.  Please be respectful to the folks sitting around you who are here to enjoy the performance of our bands.  No displaying the influence of drugs or alcohol, you will be escorted from the Festival grounds immediately.

Absolutely "NO" refunds.
