"Bluegrassin' In The Foothills"
To our dedicated Bluegrass friends, valuable volunteers, supporters,
sponsors, and fans:
There comes a time in life when we all have to cut back and enjoy
things from a different perspective; more relaxation, less stress,
traveling, exploring, new adventures, and visiting with family and
friends. That time has come for Sondra and me.
After producing 34 festivals over the past 12 years, we have come
to the end of the road for both "Bluegrass in the Park"
(Yuma, AZ.) and "Bluegrassin' in the Foothills" (Plymouth,
2014 was our last year for both of these Festivals. Not to worry,
you can get your Bluegrass Festival fix (L&S Style) at our "Bluegrass
on the Beach" festival (Lake Havasu, AZ.), held annually the
first week end in March. We will continue to work hard to keep this
festival alive and going strong. We will also continue to be at Grass
Valley helping with vendors and of course the popular late night hot
When we started Festivals in 2003, our goal was to provide the Bluegrass
community with great live music featuring world class entertainment
(L & S Style)! In addition, we strived to provide you superior
sound, arts and crafts, great food, a "Kids on Stage Program",
jamming, and as many amenities as reasonably possible….we hope we
brought you that and more!
We would like to thank all of you who hung in there and supported
us over the past 12 years…We could not do it without you!
We have been so lucky to be in a position to bring you a festival
(Plymouth) that turned out to be what many have called: "The
Best Little Festival in the West". We have met and made so many
new friends and are proud of our accomplishments. In addition to the
"one of a kind" bluegrass fans, we also want to thank our
valuable and dedicated volunteers, sponsors, and all those who helped
year after year. How lucky are we? For the majority of the time we
have had to turn volunteers away because we had too many who wanted
to be part of our festival. A great position to be in! Thank you for
the great memories and friendships.
Thanks so much and we will see you all down the Bluegrass Highways!
LIFE IS TRULY GOOD For L&S !
